Scam emails often copy our logo and wording. Here's how to tell a real OzHosting email from a fake one.
What we will never do
- Ask for your password, 2FA code or backup codes by email or phone
- Ask you to pay into a new or different bank account
- Threaten to delete your domain or email within hours unless you click a link
- Send you to a login page that isn't one of the addresses below
Where our emails and links come from
- Our emails come from addresses ending in @ozhosting.com or @ozhosting.com.au.
- Domain registry notices may come from Domain Services. These are genuine; check the links go to one of our addresses below.
- Our links only go to ozhosting.com.au, portal.ozhosting.com, portal2.ozhosting.com, my.ozhosting.com or support.ozhosting.com.
Hover over a link before you click it to see where it really goes. If in doubt, don't click: log in to the portal yourself and check your invoices and domains there.
Report a suspicious email
Forward it to support@ozhosting.com with "Suspicious email" in the subject, or call 1300 467 843 (option 1). If you've already entered a password, change it straight away and tell us.
